and Running… Oh My!

All the sets, and the reps, and the running—exercising might seem intimidating at first, but the benefits
are long lasting and well worth the work. Exercise is also
something that will help us continue living active lifestyles.
But for some, fitness has not come easily or at an early start.
So now we are left wondering just how to get to that “feel
good” place that being healthy and fit takes us.
On the happenstance of reading an article where he
learned that the lead singer of the hard rock band Pantera
brought his boxing trainer on tour with him, this was the
beginning of Clay Burwell’s career as a personal trainer. “I
remember reading that [article] and thinking how cool that
sounded.” Now he has been on tour with the E street band,
a gig he got after training Drea Dematteo for her role on
the hit HBO show The Sopranos. Training Dematteo has
also resulted in creating a list of celebrity clientele, like
Matt Damon, Lenny Kravitz, and currently Steve Van Zandt
from the E street band. “Since I have been back out on tour
with [Steve], he has lost 20-25 pounds in six weeks. Really
