Island, Gina and Michele wanted to ;nd a true
sense of community in a warmer destination
that o;ered an active, established lifestyle. At
the Expo, they met with many representatives
from communities from around the country.
A bit apprehensive about looking in the
South, they decided it was time to give it a try,
and one year later, they purchased a home in
;e Landings on Skidaway Island just outside
of Savannah, GA.
Michele comments, “;ere are so many
beautiful places and homes everywhere, but
it’s important to ;nd somewhere you ;t.”

in ;e Landings when they were exploring.

ON THE MOVE
In January 2016, snow levels reached record numbers of 27 inches in New York. Covered by the snow they had just shoveled, Gina Pampinella and Michele Simari braved the blustery winds and blizzard to attend the Ideal-LIVING Real Estate Expo at the Huntington Hilton on Long Island. One of just a few hundred to conquer the snow to arrive at the Expo that year, Gina and
Michele were determined to ;nd a warm location for their second home that will someday serve
as their retirement destination.
