When Bill Clark Homes (then, Bill Clark Construction) was founded
in 1977, what was the goal?
;e goal was pretty simple. I wanted to build quality homes that families
could be proud to grow in. And, to be honest, that goal hasn’t changed.
;at’s exactly what we strive for today.
Which traditions and values does Bill Clark continue to uphold?
Family values are one of the main pillars of why we do what we do. We
believe that families who work, play, and build together, grow together. And,
we want to design and build homes that will help more families do that.
We’re committed to and have always been committed to building the
best house for the best value in top North Carolina communities.
And, at Bill Clark Homes, customer service isn’t a courtesy, it’s our
foundation. Our customers are customers for life, because we fold them in
like family. We’re available to them whether they’ve been in their home for
20 days or 20 years.
We believe that every home we build should be a home we would want
to live in.
Why North Carolina? What do you love and treasure about this state?
We wouldn’t be anywhere else. ;is is where we were born and raised—we’re
home grown! We want to reinvest in the communities and towns we grew up in.
What has made you and Bill Clark employees proud over the years?
For 40 years, we’ve grown into one of the most successful builders in the
country, with thousands of families living and growing in Bill Clark homes
over the years. ;at’s sure to make someone proud! A solid foundation
allowed us to build to this level, and we’re just continuing the legacy.
What sets Bill Clark apart?
We build the best homes for the best value, hands down. And, our
customer service wins every time. We stay on top of trends that would best
serve our clients and we continue to be a leader in the marketplace.
What do you hope to contribute to people’s lives?
We hope to build houses that families can be proud to call home. And, we
want to build homes that are the foundation for long-lasting family traditions.
Which standards does Bill Clark adhere to above others?
We always do the right thing. If we’ve made a mistake, we ;x it.
How and why have you continued to run the business as a family?
We are a very passionate family who sticks together. So, it just makes
sense for us to funnel that passion into a business … together. ;e time,
energy, and love invested in a business just builds on that commitment and
connection. While it’s a family business, at the end of the day, all of our
employees come together as family.
What do you hope to achieve in the next 40 years?
I’d love for the business to be carried on by the next generation. Our family
has built a legacy that people can bene;t from. I’d like to see the company
grow, weather the inevitable ups and downs, and remain strong.
