Cape Charles’ very own, three-year old Hatteras, came
away with 2nd place overall with his ;rst ever National
Iron Dog Score of 2772.98. He received an “uno;cial” invite to the World Championship Competition in spring.
“We’re thrilled,” said Hatteras’ owner, Bobby Laird.
“And, yes, we’ll de;nitely be there.”

not really his “thing.”

his seat on his parents’ golf cart.
“It’s his favorite thing to do,”
said Laird. “And in Cape Charles,
