Market Analysis
Nobody needs to be told it’s a fantastic time to buy property
in Florida, a highly desirable Sun Belt destination where supply
still exceeds demand. Florida has experienced a steady increase
in existing home sales for months, and with median sales prices
averaging at $159,000*, it’s no wonder smart shoppers are taking
advantage of jaw-dropping deals.
“I don’t need to tell people it’s a great time to buy,” real estate
agent Carly Silver-Pearson of MCZ/Centrum Development says.
“Last month was a great time to buy; next month will still be a
great time to buy. What I urge customers to consider is: eventually
it won’t be a great time to buy because prices will go up—and
they will.
“So, I ask them to think about ‘What if? What if I let this
great opportunity pass me by?’ One day, there will be thousands
of people who look back on 2009 Florida real estate and wish that
they had invested. You shouldn’t be one of those people.” |
